If your accommodation is not on the pickup list, contact BIS after booking and they will direct you to the nearest option. Pickup from locations other than the main Hobart meeting point may be earlier than 7am.

Climb 72 steps (with handrail) to the balcony for views across the Southern Ocean and cape. The original lens, installed in 1903, is still preserved on site. Children under 5 may visit the museum and walk at the base under adult supervision but cannot climb the stairs.

• This is a guided road and ferry tour in an air-conditioned bus. It is not a cruise or boat tour.
• Departs Hobart at 7am. Returns approximately 5:30pm.
• Your specific pickup time and location is confirmed after booking. Pickup from locations other than the main Hobart meeting point may be earlier than 7am.
• Bring warm layers and a rain jacket. Bruny Island is often cooler than Hobart, in all seasons.
• Wear comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes.
• Bring a small day bag or backpack. Suitcases and large bags cannot be accommodated on the bus.
• Bring a reusable water bottle. Water is available on the bus for refills throughout the day.
• Dietary requirements must be noted at time of booking.
• Children under 5 cannot climb Cape Bruny Lighthouse stairs. They may visit the Cape Bruny Lighthouse Museum and walk inside at the base under adult supervision.
