Because we are a small private operator we feel its a privilege to share our state with guests. Our tours have a minimum number of 2 guests and maximum number of 10 guests. This allows us to explore behind the scenes, in small numbers with depth of story and experiences. These seasonal offerings will vary and change according to venue availability and season. Please provide guests preferences, interests during booking. This tour allows guests to experience some of the small boutique producers in the Huon Valley, 30 minutes south of Hobart. Where fresh orchard fruits are plenty, along with creative locals producing cheese, wine, spirits and artist studios can be discovered. We also offer exclusive private experiences with the producers, allowing guests to be one on one with artists, distillers, wine makers and captains of old wooden boats. As we travel along the Huon River going in search of seasonal fruit and realizing the stories of the past. we make our way around to Franklin. The small town renowned for it's wooden boat building past. Walk the pier and in season jump on board for a cruise and a cheeky tasting.

Stop and relax with a local cider in hand. Hear the stories about the farming families, raised on the Huon River. Realise the communities historical milestones and how important the river became. These days, it is one of our national food bowls, producing large quantities of fresh fruit, berries and not to mention the creative artist and there studios. Or maybe discovering a small batch winery, is your thing, or a seasonal stop for cherry ice cream.
