Over a period of 45 minutes, you will gain valuable insights into the history of the Female Factory, the convict system of punishment and reform and offer a glimpse of what life was like for the thousands of women transported to Van Dieman's Land. At the conclusion of the tour, you will have time to wander at your own pace and peruse the gallery, gift shop and interpretive displays.
